Use in Skin Care and Remedies

Chamomile is the kind mother amongst the plants. Not only is its antispasmodic side helpful for many women's ailments, it also has a warm and comforting nature. It shines in the sun but with a light that is soft and kind rather than gaudy or dazzling. One could see the hollow flowerhead as a symbol of the womb. The blue colour of the essential oil chamazulene is also the expression of something soothing.

In Dr.Hauschka Skin Care chamomile is used for its anti-inflammatory properties, e.g. in Eye Solace, Cleansing Cream, Rhythmic Conditioner Sensitive, Rejuvenating Mask, Soothing Mask, Neem Hair Oil and Neem Nail Oil.

In WALA medicines chamomile is contained in remedies used to treat disturbances or cramps in the gastrointestinal or genitourinary region. Bolus alba comp. powder (Bolus alba comp. Pulver)*, Carum carvi suppositories (Carum carvi Zäpfchen)* and Suppositories for Children (Carum carvi Kinderzäpfchen)* are useful for treatment of gastrointestinal complaints. Nicotiana comp. pellets (Nicotiana comp., Globuli velati)* are useful for treatment of menstrual cramps.

Bolus alba comp.

Indications: Harmonisation of the metabolic processes in the digestive system in disturbances of secretion and motility in the gastrointestinal tract, e.g. in diarrhoea, vomiting.

Carum carvi Zäpfchen (suppositories)
Indications: Harmonisation of the sensitivity organisation in the metabolic system in the case of digestive weakness with flatulence and a tendency to abdominal cramps as well as associated states of restlessness and sleep disturbances.

Carum carvi Kinderzäpfchen (paediatric suppositories)
Indications: Harmonisation of the sensitivity organisation in the metabolic system in the case of digestive weakness with flatulence and a tendency to abdominal cramps as well as associated states of restlessness and sleep disturbances.

Nicotiana comp., Globuli velati
Indications: Harmonisation of the sensitivity organisation in conditions where there is a tendency towards spasms of the smooth muscle, e.g. wind (flatulence), gastrocardiac symptom complex, irritable bowel (spastic colon), bronchial asthma.
