Preface

In 1999, WALA Heilmittel GmbH first decided to undergo certification according to DIN EN ISO 14001 and EMAS. We made public the company’s active policies of environmental and natural protection and have updated this information on an annual basis ever since. Because we and generations to come can only live and properly develop in a healthy environment, environmental protection has always played an important role at WALA. The natural raw materials for our products can only thrive in a healthy environment. The purity of the ingredients used in our preparations is a precious commodity. Only if nature remains intact can we maintain the unparalleled quality and uniqueness of our formulations.

This environmental brochure is intended to introduce you to the policies of our company. We will show you what we are doing to protect the environment in each of our departments. Economic constraints are no excuse for neglecting environmental protection. Often even the simplest of ideas is enough to make major improvements, re-structure processes and achieve the same results while reducing consumption of resources.

Join us on a virtual tour of our international projects, in which we make a significant contribution to environmental protection by strongly advocating biodynamic cultivation. We increase awareness of the importance and necessity of biodynamic agriculture in these projects and provide active support in its practical implementation.
