Whether oils, creams, liquids, globuli or suppositories: the finished preparations must subsequently be packaged. To minimise the resulting impact on the environment, we use recyclable materials such as glass, plasticiser-free PP and PE for bottles and lids, and aluminium for tubes. We never use melamine resin for lids and caps due to its formaldehyde content, and the seals used in metal lids do not contain semicarbazide. Folding boxes for ampoules are manufactured completely from FSC-certified cardboard, not plastic. The international Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) awards this certificate for sustainable forestry. By developing a wrap-around label containing all of the information that would otherwise have to be included in a package insert, we have been able to eliminate external packaging for globuli in glass jars. Brochures and letterhead are printed using water-soluble dispersion inks which contain no mineral oils and are biodegradable.
Paper used for brochures is made from 100% non-chlorine bleached pulp and may contain recycled material. Letterhead and copy paper are made from 100% recycled paper.
By demonstrably using environmentally compatible products and highest quality raw materials, we motivate our suppliers to follow suit.
