Developing preparations from carefully selected natural ingredients with a high degree of environmental compatibility was one of the key concepts that led to the founding of WALA. It remains a cornerstone of our company philosophy today and is the basis for all new developments.
BDIH has confirmed the environmental compatibility of our preparations due to the use of natural raw materials, the implementation of resource-conserving manufacturing procedures, the biodegradability of the raw materials and finished products and the use of economical, environmentally compatible, recyclable packaging. These guidelines have already been included in WALA’s handbook for developing new cosmetic products and are followed whenever a new product is developed.
All Dr.Hauschka Skin Care and Dr.Hauschka Med products bear the certification mark “Kontrollierte Natur-Kosmetik”. This mark is awarded by the German industry association BDIH to individual products that conform to the association’s strict criteria for natural skin care and is certified by an independent certification body.
