The WALA Foundation

Boll/Eckwälden. The Foundation is responsible for WALA Heilmittel GmbH in its entirety and holds 100 % of its shares. Accordingly, all profits of the limited company belong to the Foundation, which invests them primarily in WALA Heilmittel GmbH or distributes part to WALA employees. This is because the primary function of the Foundation is to preserve the WALA idea and to promote the continued development of WALA Heilmittel GmbH. The advantage of this model is that the company’s equity does not belong to any single person, and that the company primarily serves the purpose of the Foundation and cannot be bought, sold or inherited.
